The Island of Dr. Moreau     The Island of Dr. Moreau is a story that questions the ability of menplaying God. The equilibrate of nature is put to the ultimate test as a humankind by thename of Charles Edward Prendick stumbles across an out-of-control examinethat fuses man with animal.     At prototypical glance, this tropical paradise seems idyllic. But deep in the jungles lies a howling(a) secret. Moreau and Montgomery have been preformingscientific research on human beings and the experiment goes terribly wrong.They have ignored the most fundamental law of the jungle survival of thefittest.The first illustration is a drawing of Doctor Moreau explaining his view on the island to Prendick. Prendick has been finding out things that heshouldnt have been knowing, and he demands answers. He gets his answers fromDr. Moreau but he hears things that are unimaginable. Moreau explains how hemutates humans into beast-like animals. For the rest of Prendicks beat on theisland he maintains an uneasy feeling and he wishes he neer arrived on thisisland.The Next sketch illustrates the beasts new passion for blood, which is amajor(ip) turning point for the story. Roaming free, these beast-people are highlyintelligent with murderous instincts. Their thirst for blood is pacifiedthrough a combination of sedatives and shock discipline. But events triggeredby Prendicks unexpected arrival are about to break Moreaus God- likemastery over these resentful creatures.The last drawing in my visual set about symbolizes a catastrophe. This wasa point in the novel were all orchestra pit broke loose. Prendick found himself in themiddle of a violent irruption between the doctor and his "family." Moreau,Montgomery, and most of the beasts lost their lives. Prendick himself was evenforced to kill. It finish up that he was the last one left on the island barelyfor a few beasts. Prendick later escaped the clutches of his captors and flee sthe island leaving down terror, but taking a new life with him.
